we've moved!

well, it only took a short 6 months, give or take a few weeks, but we have finally moved.  no more running by the house to see what's been done every day.  no more being gone all day long going from one activity to another and not getting home till way after bedtime.  best of all, no more carpool.  praise the lord, thank you jesus can i get an amen.  no more carpool.  no more living out of our car as we trek all over the place.  needless to say since closing day things have been a bit hectic.  we hit the ground running with moving in right after signing the papers and haven't stopped since.  in a perfect world i would have cute edited pictures of the kids on the new front steps but that is just not my reality now.  i don't even know where my camera is!  and even if i did i would not have the time.  i have a vision of what i want and hopefully soon, i'll be able to get it done.

on top of moving into a new house, getting the kids settled, unpacking all of our crap and trying to maintain some sense of normalcy we also had a wedding in seaside and my dad had a "minor" (but still very real and very scary) heart attack.  fortunately, all is well and papa is ok.  3 stints and a few days in the hospital later he's on the mend.  i'd appreciate it if that didn't happen again, though.

so, with all of that going on plus life with three kids unpacking a moving in has been slow.  we'll get there, boxes by stinking box.  we have a lot of boxes.  but what's probably best about finally moving in is seeing the boys get on the bus together.  i think at first the transportation department was a little nervous about carson riding the bus with everyone else, the kept reminding me that he had to be able to get up and down the steps all by himself.  well he rocked it the first day, no problem.  he gets on and off just like the other kids, his only problem is his own brother trying to knock him over so that he can be first.  brothers.  but it sure is sweet seeing their two little faces in the bus window waving to me and blowing kisses.  i'll hold on to that forever since i know it won't last once they get older.  so, we are now officially buford wolves and it feels so good!

the last carpool ride from my parents house.  notice my giant smile!
