merry christmas

as usual these days i'm a bit late but i wanted to wish everyone a very merry christmas.  we had a very eventful day with two boys who had the stomach bug but still made it through christmas with a smile (even after a few pajama changes and minor "accidents").  shelby did great through her first christmas  she was completely enthralled by the boys opening their presents and then took a 3 hour nap.  i know next year will be a totally different story and i can't wait to see what life is like then.  it'll take me the whole year to clean up anyway.  brooks keeps bringing me things to open and play with so it's like christmas all over again.  a clean house is overrated anyway!
