sweet big brother brooks

when i found out i was pregnant with miss shelby cooper i immediately wondered how brooks was going to react.  he instantly became very curious of where the baby was growing and how she was going to get here.  thank goodness i was having a c-section and could show him the scar from where he came from.

during the pregnancy as she got bigger brooks became very clingy and constantly wanted to touch "the baby" and feel her kick.  i still wasn't too sure how he would do when she got here.  well, now that she's here he has been a great big brother.  he's very attentive to her and does not like to hear her cry.  don't get me wrong.  he has also become even needier for my attention, especially when i am holding her.  overall he's done great and has adjusted fairly well.  being the "middle" child can't be easy i'm sure.  i just hope that the boys are as close to shelby as they are with each other.  carson has adjusted well to her coming home, in true carson fashion.  not much phases him.  he loves her but since she can't do too much right now he's bored with her easily.  i'm still working on getting some pictures with the two boys with shelby.  it's not as easy getting three kids to sit and smile!
