fun run

last friday was carson's fun run at school.  he was so excited to run the track with all the other kids.  if you've ever witnessed carson running you know that my heart stops every time for fear that he is going to flat out land on his face and skin up his knees.  somehow, 99.8% of the time he manages just fine and even if he does fall he pops right back up.  at last year's fun run his sweet teacher and my dad had to carry him part of the way because he just physically couldn't make it around the track.  not this year! he wanted no part of any help at all and when the kids took off running so did he.  he has come so far and we are beyond proud of him.  way to go sweet boy!

and if your still keeping track, i'm still pregnant.  36 weeks and 3 days.  i had brooks at 36 weeks and 4 days so we'll see how much longer she hangs on.  i really have only been uncomfortable the last few days.  i'm just now realizing that very soon we will have a new little member to our family and i am so excited to meet her.  if she's anything like her brothers andrew and i are very lucky parents.  only a few more days to go till she's here!
