sprinkle!

this past sunday was my "sprinkle" for the baby girl.  it was absolutely perfect and i loved every minute of it.  since my last shower was after i had carson and cooper this was a nice difference.  i was actually pregnant this time!  as much as i loved the showers i had the first time around it was really difficult because i had already had the boys and they were in the NICU while i was opening presents wondering if they would ever get to use them.  so, since this time i am having a girl my sweet sister, sister-in-law and dear friends thought a sprinkle would be fun.  considering i have nothing for a girl i really appreciated every thing i got.  and i got a lot of really great stuff.  i just loved opening all the pink frilly things and i now have more than enough for her to wear for the first few months.  thank you to every one who was able to come and a big thank you to the four girls who hosted it for me.  i have the best family and friends a girl could ask for.

we do have a scheduled date for this little one to arrive, september 30th.  we'll see if i make it that far.  i stop my shots in two weeks so after that we'll be on high alert for her to come.  the boys are so excited to meet their baby sister!  i can't believe how close it is now.  i can't say that these past months have flown by but now that it's almost over it feels like i just found out i was pregnant.  let's pray for a calm delivery with no surprises and a healthy baby girl!
