back to school

it wasn't easy getting up so early this morning but we did it.  carson made it though his first day of school and came running to the car with a huge smile.  we're gonna show kindergarten who's boss this year!  way to go buddy on a great first day of school!

put his bag up, found his seat and got to work.

one last shot with mom before we left.  he was all set, how did he get so big so fast?  

and back in the car to go home.  no phone calls this year (last year he fell and had to go to the clinic-one of may visits once he learned that he got to lay down and chat with nurse cindy if he went.  i'm not sure who enjoyed it more, carson or the nurse).  and he stayed awake the whole day.  we'll see how long he lasts...i'm guessing by friday he'll have taken a little nap at some point.
