4th of july
it's hard to believe that the 4th has already come and gone. that means that summer is starting to wind down. it goes by way to fast! i'm not ready for school to start back up. i like sleeping in way too much and so do the boys.
we had a great 4th despite A LOT of rain. it seemed like every time we would try to go outside to do something it would start pouring down rain. we made the best of it though and the boys had a blast. even though we didn't get to see any fireworks this year (boo!) due to, you guessed it, rain. just as we settled on the boat a big bolt of lightening hit over the water. um, no thank you. so back in we went. maybe next year we'll see the fireworks. funny to think next year we'll be plus one more. there will be a sweet baby girl with us, i can already see the cute little outfits!!!

in between rain showers the boys got in a jet ski ride with andrew. love the hair!
carson and andrew
finally, some swimming time. you can see how wet the ground is behind carson. it had just poured.
helping on the boat while enjoying an ice cream cone
if someone is doing yard work, someone else isn't far behind.
family of 4 for just a few more months. i strategically placed the boys in front of the ever growing "bump" which i feel like has doubled in size since this picture was taken a few days ago!
