part of the club

it's a club that so many are part of.  it's not one that i had ever wished to be a part of but that wasn't up to me.  we are a part of it.  and as with all things that are thrown our way we just roll with it.  brooks is an absolutely amazing child.  he is a survivor.  he is a child with a chd (congenital heart defect).  although to look at him you'd never know.  you'd never know that his heart was just about to give out.  he's a heartbreaker for sure and i couldn't be prouder of him and his little heart.
