disney pics
i swear, if you had asked me a few years ago if i would ever be going to disney i would have told you not in a million years. no thank you. it's not for me. um, i was so totally wrong. ever since our trip last year i am in love with disney. definitely not in love with how much it costs but it's well worth it. so when andrew's family chose orlando for their christmas get together in was a no brainer. had we known that every other person on the face of the planet was going to be there we may have thought twice about going after christmas. it was a madhouse. but seeing the boys' faces when they got to meet buzz and wood was priceless. we only made it to the parks one day. it was way too crowded to try and do two days. but we made our one day count. andrew and i even full on sprinted pushing two strollers from the parking lot to the back of hollywood studios just to make our fast pass tickets for the toy story ride. my lungs may have felt like they were going to explode but anything for my boys. they had a fantastic day and didn't get in to be till midnight. both boys fell asleep at one point, brooks even sleeping through the nemo ride and turtle talk with crush. but like i said, every minute that we were sandwiched in there was worth it.
meeting our idols, buzz and woody. they were beyond excited.
ready to ride the toy story ride. super fun. both boys loved it!
carson's buzz ears he got. if you know carson you know that the fact these had wings on them was a huge hit.
sweetest moment of the day. we were in turtle talk with crush and carson was the first to sit down where the kids sit. he was just so precious sitting there "criss cross applesauce" waiting for the room to fill up. when the show started crush chose carson to talk to. i wish i had been able to get all of it recorded but my phone was full so it only caught a few seconds. crush asked carson if he had a good christmas. then asked where are you from?. carson responded with his sweet little voice "in disney world." crush laughed and said "no little buddy, where do you live?" to which carson responded, "in my house!" duh. it was so cute and carson was over the moon that crush had actually talked to him. see what i mean. totally worth the arm and leg it costs to see that.
here is the tiny clip i got.
down goes carson (and there's aunt cameron in the background ;) )
after a brief trip back to the room andrew and i took the boys back to the magic kingdom (since it was closed earlier in the day because it was at capacity. it was crazy packed.) we made the most of our one day and did as much as we physically could. this is me and my brooks on the dumbo ride.
on to plan our next trip!
