carson's first week

we finished carson's first week of kindergarten, phew!  i must say that i probably added a few gray hairs while worrying about what he was doing all day, but we made it.  i did get a call on friday around 2 pm from carson's teacher letting me know that he was sound asleep in the beanbag chair.  poor thing was flat worn out.  his little body is working 10 times harder than most kids his age.  it'll just take him a bit longer to get adjusted.  so in the meantime i took his walker in for him to use when there is a long way to walk.  those hallways are really long!  his sweet teacher said she would carry him when he needed it but little stinker would figure that trick out way too fast.  he would never be walking anywhere!  he can get away with a lot with that sweet little face and voice.  just like how i told him if he got all greens in his behavior chart for the week he could go pick out a toy...i did not think it would be this giant space center...

how could i say no to that face?  and i guess you only complete your first week of kindergarten once, right?  now on to conquer week two.  when will this feeling in my stomach go away while he's at school?  i nearly jump out of my skin every time the phone rings while he's there.  i guess getting 2 phone calls the first week didn't help.  let's pray for no phone calls this week!

and for our little b.  the blond tornado and i don't go back to school officially until after labor day so for now we are just hanging out.  he is now only allowed his O's if he is laying in the bed (a sneaky trick for me to get some quiet time during the day, shhh.  don't tell him!).  so at least once during the day he says he's going up for some time with his O's and he goes and sits in our bed.
