chd

before july 28th, 2009 i had no idea what those letters meant. chd. they don't seem too alarming or scary in any way. but, boy are they ever. congenital heart defect is what they stand for. 1 in 100 babies have them and it is the #1 form of birth defect. who would guess that this guy is one of those 100? in honor of chd awareness week here is our miracle...

and whenever i am taking some pictures of the little man i always have to try and get one of his incredible eye lashes. i can already see the ladies lining up!
