happiest of holidays

what a wonderful christmas we have had! we have been so busy with all kinds of travel and visiting i have had no time to post or take pictures. i'm working with what i've got but every year i think that i am really going to take the time and take some decent pictures and then it's all over in the blink of an eye. for right now i have two videos that are priceless, at least to me they are. nothing beats the reaction of kids who truly believe in the spirit of christmas and the pure excitement of receiving gifts they have been patiently waiting for. i wish it lasted forever, but at least we have it on video.

the first video was taken after the boys got their drum set from grammy and grampy. i thought i was crazy for suggesting a drum set but they love it and it is the cutest thing to see them both rocking out...

like i mentioned above, the see the sheer excitement from a child is the best. carson had been asking for this new clubhouse for months. he would stare at in on my computer looking at it from every angle. i could not wait for him to open it up to see his reaction...i also love that brooks is skateboarding in the background especially because the skateboard was carson's gift that he totally hijacked the entire day and would not let anyone come near. more on that later.
