disney world

we just got back from disney and boy did we have a fantastic time. i have many pictures to sort through, 5 iphones to get videos and pictures from, a gigantic mound of laundry and countless disney gift store bags to hide till Christmas. i will try and get to the first two things i mentioned as soon as possible. let me just tell you my two favorite moments:

1. carson getting to see the clubhouse up close and in person. it almost brought tears to my eyes. well, who am i kidding? it did bring tears to my eyes. it was like watching someone fulfill a life long dream. i would have moved heaven and earth to find him a clubhouse while we were in disney. if they didn't have something then i was willing to construct it myself. fortunately, they had a life-size puppet show that did the trick. it was by far the most precious thing i have ever seen just to watch him be the last kid out of the studio. he stood in amazement in front of the clubhouse for a good 5-7 minutes before it was time to go. and in true carson fashion, he did not give us a fight when we told him we had to go. he simply told the clubhouse goodbye and let us stroll him away as he watched till they closed the doors. then for the next half hour he told us, "i got to see the real clubhouse, wow!" that right there was worth the whole trip.

2. seeing brooks with the characters. we had several character meals and also saw the whole clubhouse crew at epcot. it was like they were all there to see him. after going through the whole line at epcot he yells out, "who's next?" and for some reason he was obsessed with seeing minnie. when we finally got to her he ran up and gave her a kiss on the nose, then asked if he could squeeze her nose, which he proceeded to do. and, i got it all on video! and in true brooks fashion, the child never sat still and ran around like he owned the place, which he did.

as soon as i find the time (ha!) i will put the pictures up from all of our phones and cameras. we had such a wonderful time and it's all thanks to my mom for the countless hours upon hours of planning. thanks, bunny! we had a magical time ;)
