please pray for my cousin ryan, his wife carolyn, their two daughters and their families as they have lost their sweet baby girl, emerson. the next few days, weeks, and months will be very difficult. sweet little emerson fought so hard all day long but in the end God had a different plan for her. the loss of any loved one is always difficult but when it is a child it's unbearable. i can only hope and pray that my sweet angel cooper was there waiting for her with open arms.

So sad to read this. I prayed for her earlier. Please pass on my condolences. Did they ever have a diagnosis?

It has been a long sad day for the family as tragedy seems to have repeated itself. As I sit & reflect about how today's events unfolded, fear, hope, then fear, again, then hope again, & though the doctors did so much to prepare us, it still came so sudden & sort of unexpected. But as I sat, a few moments ago, a beautiful thought came to my mind & made my smile, though bitter-sweetly: I picture Cooper & Emerson together, holding hands as toddlers, running, giggling, & getting to know each other; Cooper showing Emerson the parts of Heaven that only a young child could take such delight in. I find comfort in these visual images & hope that you & others can too. I wish you could be here for Carolyn. Thank you for sharing Cooper with us through your blog!
