so, we have all been pretty sick and really busy around here. i've hardly snapped one picture so i had to pull some older ones off my computer. one thing i don't like about the boys being in school (and there isn't much!) is that we can't get rid of the sick "bug." i feel like between the four of us we just keep passing it back and forth. b and carson still have a pretty hard sounding cough and i can't get rid of the runny nose and sore throat. i've even lost my voice as of tonight, which i'm sure andrew isn't too sad about ;)

we did get to spend some time with cameron who was in town from dallas, texas today. i even got my birthday present early which i'm sure you will see me sporting in any new pictures i'm in. it's a beautiful michael kors watch that i have been eyeing lately. thank you so much hess family, i love, love, love it!

it seems that lately thing have been going in fast forward. all of the sudden it's almost november which means thanksgiving, a trip to disney, and christmas will all be here before i know it. where does the time go? i had phone conferences this past week with both the boys' teachers and they had nothing but wonderful thing to say. we couldn't be happier with both of them. shockingly, brooks' teacher said he is so quiet at school. that is to total opposite of how he is at home, which is funny. he's still warming up to the idea of school. he better get used to it soon, because it's not ending for a few years! i think he inherited my love of school which isn't much to speak of...it was never really my "thing" till i got to auburn. go figure?

carson's teacher said he is so sweet and loving which we already knew. he also comes in every morning and does all of his work right away without complaining. i hope this continues. he's getting so much better at his writing. fine motor skills are a weak spot for him and he struggles with it but he's getting there. he also loves to sing and dance at school which is so funny because he won't let us sing at home. he even yells at me to stop when i try to sing but apparently loves to do it at school. his christmas program should be very entertaining this year. i really have been so impressed with the school and am so glad the boys are a part of such a loving environment. it really was by chance we ended up there but it has been the best place for both of them.

of to bed for me, but not without two shots of my sweet guys...

this is pretty much how b looks every morning he has to go to school. he knows it's his day when we get dressed right away and he starts telling me before we even get in the car, "i keep my O's with me, they my O's!" they are trying to get him to put the paci up while at school. so far he will only put it in his pocket. i'm starting to think he'll go to college with one!
