funny story

i know that i have been m.i.a this week but we've been so busy and still sick around here. carson actually fell asleep in his physical therapists lap on monday because he was so run down. sometimes i forget just how hard he is working everyday, his little body sometimes just needs a rest. anyway, the boys had a fall fun fest at school this week and i got to take brooks, who was more thrilled with the fact that i was at school with him than anything else. he did love the bounce house and pretty much spent his entire time bouncing. it was so cute to see him with all his little friends and i was amazed at how well he behaves at school. such a good boy!

carson missed his fall fun fest because after he fell asleep at PT he wound up with a fever the next day and had to stay home. his teacher took him on wednesday so he could participate and he loved it. when he got in the car on wednesday he had this on his hand...

i asked him what it was and he said, "it's a heart with words, but i don't know what it says." i told him it says, "i've got Jesus in my heart." to which he replied, "and he's on my hand, mom!" thanks for clearing that up, carson. that's my literal kid!
