brotherly love

it's the one thing a mom hopes for when she has children. especially when they are the same gender. it took carson almost a year to even like brooks. he wouldn't even look at him for a few months. i even posted about how much carson disliked his baby brother and how much it upset me. i'm not sure when things turned around or what happened to make carson decide his brother wasn't so bad but boy have things changed. carson absolutely loves brooks. he adores him and thinks everything he does is wonderful. the other day he said, "i can't find brooks, he's really small and i can't find him." he also tells anyone who will listen that brooks is his baby brother. it makes me smile every time.

now, if i could only get brooks on the bandwagon. little b has decided that he is his own person. there are times that he adores his big brother. and he gets sad when carson gets out of the car for school and he has to stay (but i think that has more to do with the fact that carson gets to come sit in the front seat in carpool, not that he is actually going to school without brooks). either way, i love it when i catch moments like this. i love my little guys so much and am so glad they love each other!
