valentines

my valentines day started at about 12:30 am that morning with brooks screaming in his bed. i went in, sat with him for a minute, then put him back. a few minutes later he was crying again. i'm not sure what gene it is that us moms are given, but i knew that cry was different from a regular i just want to get out of bed cry. i knew right away he had another ear infection. you could just tell by the way he was acting. so we slept in the back bedroom, and when i say slept i actually mean me sitting up with him propped up on my shoulder. i would get him to calm down and fall asleep for about 40 minutes at a time then he would wake up and start all over again. poor guy was in a lot of pain. so sure enough, the doctor confirmed that he had not one, but two ear infections. happy valentines day! once we got him some medicine he was much happier.

andrew and i were able to go see a movie thanks to his mom and dad for coming out to watch the guys for us. we don't really do much for valentines day, but it was nice to get out for a bit. i have the two best valentines gifts already, i don't really need anything else :)

these were taken a few weeks ago at the park but i just thought they were so sweet and really show each of their little personalities.

our little bear is always so serious, till you get past his tough guy exterior. then he is the sweetest little thing. he doesn't let too many people in though. this is the face most people are greeted with. i think he's working on his modeling face!
