prayers for a friend

after being gone in chicago all weekend and not having access to my e-mail i got home to an inbox full of messages in response to a friend of mine from auburn. i frantically pulled up the first e-mail to read that Summer had suffered a stroke early saturday morning and was airlifted from auburn to grady memorial here in atlanta. if you know summer, then you know what an amazing person she is. for those of you who don't know her, her family blog is linked to the right, "the vaughan family" you can click on it and see her precious family. numerous times in the last few years Summer has had words of encouragement and prayers for my family and me. i am so sad that she is dealing with this but know that she is a strong woman and will fight to get better every day.

please pray for her and for a full recovery. pray for the doctors and nurses taking care of her and pray for her husband and two little boys. there has been a caring bridge website set up to keep everyone updated, you can also check in there to see how she is doing. thanks everyone!
