busy, busy, busy

things around here have not slowed down one bit. we have something going on every day during the week and then are always busy during the weekends. i am so ready for thanksgiving and christmas breaks to get here so we have some time off. between carson's school, physical and occupational therapies, doctors' appointments, gymboree with brooks, a trip to chicago and auburn football we have had no time to rest, or take pictures! i try so hard but am really slacking off. i promise to try and be better. although right now you wouldn't want to see pictures of the boys. they both have runny, snotty noses, are coughing or in carson's case throwing up, three times, in my bed on my side! never dull. i try so hard to keep them from getting sick but somethings are just out of my control. so as i type now, brooks is clinging to my leg rubbing his snotty nose on me and carson is passed out in my bed and has been for almost 5 hours now. i really hope things get better soon!
i at least have two new pictures of the boys before getting sick. check out carson's hair. he definitely has andrew's thick wavy hair that looks so good when i can comb it but it definitely has a mind of it's own. carson did have another round of botox two weeks ago and since then his walking has been amazing! he is walking more on his own now than he ever has which is so exciting. finally we are really seeing some improvements. let's hope it continues!

i've said it many times before, but i am not sure what i am going to do with this little guy. he has a mind of his own and is as stubborn as they come. i can hardly wait for the "terrible twos" to hit. it should be so much fun ;) i guess you can do what you want when you're this cute though!

Lauren,
I have been missing your updates on Carson’s school adventures & Brooks’ cute & stocky self. Does he really keep TWO pacifiers in his mouth most of the time ? The sheer stamina you need trying to get the immune systems built up for all 4 now that the boys are exposed to other children. Lack of sleep, washing clothes & linens, food prep, keeping doctor’s appointments, the challenges on you are endless, but you handle it all so graciously. Motherhood is a blessing like no other.
So glad Brooks is going to an outing also. When do you ever get a break? Tennis is really your passion & your outlet, I guess. Carson looks so grown up w/his thick curly hair. Both Cameron & Andrew have such great hair genes to pass on. Our prayers continue to be answered for Carson’s walking progress. Your whole family is anointed with prayer.
Also I’ll be lifting up Summer Vaughn from Auburn. Grady is really a remarkable place. A dear friend retired as an orthopedic surgeon at Ptree Ortho & he now teaches at Grady so they really have the best physicians & professors for the Emory Medical students there. She’s so young for the family to be dealing with a stroke.
Our Grandbabies Oliver & Lauren will be 5 months November 6th
and they are such a joy. Your joys & insights through the blog have been so helpful & I feel like we all are living alongside you as Aunts & Uncles being enriched by your blessings. What an incredible & admirable job you’ve done as a Mother, Lauren.
