lake weekend

well, once again we went to the lake, i took my camera, but took no pictures of the boys. it was just too busy of a holiday to stop and take pictures. carson went swimming every chance he got. and by swimming i mean dangling his feet. the water was still just a tad too chilly for my little guy with no body fat. at one point he was clinging to my neck and shivering but yelling to megan to look at him, because he was "swimming." oh, i love that kid! my other little guy spent the entire weekend toddling around looking for someone with food. he will eat anything, and then hold out his hand for more. the two of my boys could not be more opposite when it comes to eating. i must say how nice it is to have one who will eat whatever i give him. veggies and fruit included. carson is getting a teeny tiny bit better because we have been more consistent with giving him some medicine that has hunger as a side effect. i wouldn't say he's chomping down, but he'll at least take a few more bites. i'll take it. anyway, i only got one shot with carson and my dad driving the boat. like i said, we were busy. we has a party honoring our "lake neighbor" brian and his fiance rebecca. they are getting married at the lake this weekend, so back we go! no complaints here. what's even better is that andrew's mom and aunt are going to keep the kids here. wait, what did i just say??? yup, that's right. it's two whole nights with no sweet babies. i will miss them dearly but know that they are in great hands, and andrew and i (and my parents, who always watch them for us at the lake) can enjoy the weekend and not worry about the boys.
