more botox

carson had another round of botox yesterday afternoon. i'm not sure when any of this will get easier for either of us. i'm put between a rock and a hard place because i don't want to have to be the one who holds him down as they inject his little legs but i don't want to not be there for him. so i suck it up and bite my tounge as he screams. fortunately, it's over with in a few seconds and all is well again. this time around he did do better and only cried as they were giving him the shots, before hand he was enthralled with his new sticker book i gave him. he was telling the doctor all about rocket and the little einsteins one second and then the next he looked at me like, "what are they doing?" once they were done and i could pick him up he was fine. it's funny because i hate needles and blood but when it comes to one of my kids i can handle anything. his legs were bleeding a bit and the PA was trying to wipe it up before i picked carson up. i told her that a little blood was no big deal, i just wanted to hold him and tell him how sorry i was that he has to go through this. we went in to the other room and sat on the ice packs and watched an episode of mickey mouse and all was well in the world again.

so, because carson has to go through all of this we felt like he deserves something special. my cousin allison found this mickey mouse clubhouse bank and her husband steve brought two of them on the plane from illinois last week. they knew how much he would love it, thanks al and steve! i knew it would be the perfect reward for having to get the shots. here are two videos from opening up the clubhouse yesterday. you can see that he is somewhat obsessed with the clubhouse. enjoy.
