busy week
the last few days have been so busy around here. by the time the boys are in bed i am exhausted and too worn out to upload any pictures. monday carson had pt and ot, tuesday he had an eye appointment which did not go well. they dilated his eyes which i think threw him out of sorts. he was a bear when the doctor was trying to examine his eyes. i have never seen him throw a fit like the one he did. so embarrassing! then that night he woke up around 1 am and was weepy and asking to sleep with me. so i brought him in our bed and about 30 minutes later he sat up and threw up on his blanket and my pillow. the funny part is, andrew didn't even know he was in the bed with us and then was woken up to the sound of carson throwing up. his face was pretty funny :) after cleaning him up, getting a new blanket, and getting settled back in bed he got up again about an hour later, and once more about an hour after that. finally around 4 am he fell asleep for good and slept till 10:30 the next morning.
thursday he had a follow up botox appointment. i must say that his neurologists office is the most efficient office i have ever been in, hands down. we were waiting for all of 5 minutes before the doctor came in, but in that 5 minutes i drilled it into carson that if he was a big boy during the appointment and he did not cry, he could have some candy, or m's as he calls them. for the entire 5 minutes he agreed, yes mommy, he said. i would ask him if he was a baby or a big boy and he would respond, a big boy. not 2 seconds after the doctor came in he threw himself on the floor into the fetal position and cried. ugh! the only way i could get him to stand up and show the doctor how well he was doing was to tell him we were leaving. he promptly stood up, grabbed my had and said, "time to go, let's go mommy." what am i going to do with this kid?
then to top off our week, carson also had ot again today. to which he cried when we got there and i left him. fortunately it only lasted a few minutes and all was well for the rest of the hour. so needless to say, we are all exhausted. carson from all his appointments, me from having to take him all over the place and brooks for having to tag along for most of it.
