1st birthday pictures

here are some shots of the little guy on his 1st birthday. again, i was busy socializing and making sure everyone had a good time and i didn't get as many pictures as i wanted. oh well. it was a great day and we were so lucky with great weather. thank you to everyone who came to help us celebrate brooks turning 1!

all in all it was a great day. i am still having a hard time with the fact that my baby is now 1. he's developed quite the little personality and a good set of lungs too. he loves to squeal as loud as he can, especially in public places. carson has really taken a liking to him too, unless he's messing with his toys. but for the most part they get along quite well. brooks thinks that carson hung the moon and i'm sure will continue to think so as they get older. now it's time to start thinking about carson's 3rd (gasp!) birthday. where is the time going?
