like a caged animal

so, carson started opening his door during naps and in the morning wanting to come out of his room. once he realized that he can get in and out of his bed it was all over. bedtime isn't too bad, he is usually so tired because he plays during his whole nap time. to keep him from coming out of his room we put up a little wooden gate. it has really done the trick and it keeps him in his room. i have no problem if he doesn't take a nap but he needs that quiet time (and so do I!). but, it is so funny to see him "behind the gate" like a little animal.

he had no idea i was photographing him for a bit

and then he spotted me

hey mom

carson loves for us to tell him to close his eyes. this is the face he makes. it's too funny

peeking to make sure i was still there

I'm so very proud of you for going back. You need this fellowship as well. What a special Mom you are to have your boys on a schedule napping and/or Carson playing in his room. This structure is setting boundaries & they will both be more secure and you will hopefully use this time to enjoy your photography, blogging & becoming ever more creative -- that is hardly possible !!!. Do take an occasional bubble bath to pamper yourself, Lauren.

I started my first Digital 101 class at Showcase & am so excited at your recommendation. Trying to learn how to take pictures of Elliott & Melissa's 25 weeks old in vitro little girl. Eileen has given me courage in our own journey of Melissa's lieing on her back in bedrest. Tyler & Kari too are expecting a boy in late July early August.
Carson is TOO CUTE in his very own Master's Polo Shirt ! Did you write that he walked from the car to Play Group holding your hand ???
Blessings to you & Andrew. Wrenda
