why do we even bother with toys?

i'm not sure what the entire playroom full of baby toys is for. all brooks wants to play with are cords. and he especially loves cords that are plugged in to something. i'm not sure of the fascination with cords, carson was the same way. the problem is, now brooks is getting pretty fast at going places. he still isn't fully crawling but he is a quick army crawler. many times a day i bust him in the act, kind of like this...
