the lady of the house

she may be a pain in my side some days, she's eaten countless shoes, kids' toys, expensive glasses, taken food right out of carson's hands, hogs the bed at night, refuses to learn any commands except sit, will pretend not to hear me calling her name and so many other frustrations i can't count.

but, she also snuggles with the best of them, protects this house with her massive bark, loves carson and brooks as if they were her own, lets them climb all over her, pull her ears, stick their fingers in her nose without a turn of the head, is goofier than any other dog i know, forgets within 5 minutes that i was just mad at her, and is an all around great dog.
