6 month check up

brooks had his 6 month check up on thursday. our little peanut is doing so well. he is now 14.8 pounds (5th % on the charts...at least we are on the charts!) and 26 1/2 inches (50th %) long. he made a huge jump in his height from his last visit. we're not sure what to do with a kid on the charts, if you recall carson has never been anywhere near the charts. he has been sleeping through the night the last few days but then every few days he throws in a 3 am wake-up call, but that's ok. in the mornings when he wakes up he is so happy. he just plays and squeals until someone comes to get him. it's so fun to listen to him in the morning. i can't tell you all how different this kid is from a few months ago. it breaks my heart (ha, no pun intended) that he was in so much pain before. i feel so bad for thinking that he was just going to be a fussy baby. i thought, carson was so good we just weren't used to having a fussy baby. well, boy were we wrong! this kid is just like carson was, he is so laid back and happy 99.9% of the time. i thank God that we figured out his problem before it got any worse, which i'm not sure it could have without some serious consequences. thank goodness for mother's intuition.

andrew and i left the boys with my parents this weekend and traveled to auburn for the game. wish we had stayed home now. what a disappointing game. and it was freezing to boot. oh well, we are still proud auburn fans. you have to take the good with the bad, right? sorry no pictures this post, i will get some up later this week.
