One Doctor's Appointment Down

And we passed! Have I mentioned how much I love our pediatrician? Well, I LOVE her. I go in every time with questions and worries and I leave feeling so relieved and happy. We only gained a few ounces but Dr. Putnam has said we will just be a cute skinny kid. Carson showed off his sitting and scooting skills and all his teeth. We even don't have to go back until his 15 month check up! Yea! I also talked to her about his upcoming MRI. His circumference did go up (yea!) so hopefully that means his plates are not fused. We decided to go ahead with it, why not. I would rather do it now rather than later on this year when he was supposed to have one. It will be our last chance for cousin Kelley to be there with us. So, we still have our May 28th MRI scheduled and we still need prayers for a perfectly normal scan!

On another note, we spent most of the weekend in Sugarloaf at the golf tournament. Carson did great being out in the stroller all day long Saturday. Sunday we went to the preemie party and saw so many kids who have "graduated" from the NICU who are doing amazingly well. Next year we hope Carson will be running around with everyone. This year we just sat and watched and at 1 1/2 cupcakes! We went back to the golf after the party and saw some old Cedar Creek friends. Carson was a HUGE hit! Most of them have only seen pictures, while the pictures are cute in person is so much better. He put on a show for everyone and stole their hearts. He was especially fascinated with Tootsie, but who isn't!! It was great to see all of them. Carson ended his day with falling asleep at 6:30 and did not wake up till 7 the next morning. I'll update with some more pictures soon!

It was great seeing you guys at the preemie party! Even being so tired, he did great and I always love getting a high five from Carson! Congrats on the good report for his head-now try and not to worry too much if you can help it. You have a little miracle who continues to amaze me-keep up the good work Mom and Dad (and everyone else!).

Great news from the doctor, Lauren! Hearing it was the highlight of my 58th birthday! Good on ya, Carson!
