Busy Week

Off to another busy week...OT today, eye specialist at Emory Wednesday to check out his retina on the right eye and, PT Thursday. Last week I messed up and thought PT started but it really doesn't start till this week. So I had myself all worked up ready to get started and I had to wait another week. We actually already had OT for the day and Carson did really good. His OT is really happy with what he has been doing. We are still working on sitting independently. Poor kid has no balance. She said if it weren't for his left hand "struggles" that he basically is on track for his adjusted age. I'm thinking not too bad for what he has been through and if his left hand is the only thing we have to really work on, fine by me. We'll just keep praying for strength on that left side. Sometimes I get myself so worked up but I just have to keep telling myself he has come so far and he is such a little fighter.

On another note, I am starting to think about his first birthday party! I CANNOT believe it has almost been a year! Everything is very bitter sweet for obvious reasons. Pray for strength for us in the upcoming weeks! I'll let you all know how the eye appointment goes.
