7 Interesting Things
Thanks to an old high school friend I now have to come up with 7 interesting things about me??? I have been thinking of something to write all night long, thanks a lot Bekah! OK, here goes nothing:
1-I can be a little fiesty out on the tennis court, but only when provoked! Christy and John can attest to that, and Ashley from the old days too!
2-I am terrified of frogs and snakes. They both freak me out.
3- I used to teach elementary school up until I went in to the hospital last March. Now I stay at home with my little guy which I am totally grateful for.
4- Up unitl I met and married my husband I could have given a hoot about Auburn football, but now I live and breath it!
5- I am a reality TV junkie. I watch them all. I just finished Crowned The Mother of All Pagents I know, pathetic.
6- I can't sleep unless my dog is snuggled up next to me. She might make me wake up with a crick in my neck but I love it!
7- E.T. scared me as a kid and he still does.
I know, not very interesting and everyone probably checks the site hoping to see new pictures of Carson. I'm a sucker for these kind of things though. So now I am supposed to tell others who have blogs to do the same but not too many of my friends have them so Allison and Summer if you guys would like to add 7 interesting things about yourself to you blog go ahead!
On another note, yesterday I had the honor of being a guest speaker to a class of nurses. They wanted to hear from a parent's perspective. It was really hard to recount our experience in the NICU. I never want to relive that ever again but I hope that it gave those nurses some idea of what we as parents go through. They already have such a difficult job and I'm sure dealing with parents can make it that much more difficult. I was supposed to tell good and bad experiences that we had while in the Gwinnett NICU and as I was preparing the night before (I am a total procastonator, that could be one of my 7 interesting things!) I could not come up with one bad experience, except for the fact that we had to be there. But the nurses at Gwinnett were so amazing. I had so many good things to say about them and it just made me want to thank them again for what they did for us. So, for any of our NICU friends who still read, THANK YOU!!!! You guys are all amazing, wonderful people!

Plus, I don't know if you are aware of this, but I have a website www.thewoodyhouse.com. I am not sure if I plan to put 7 interesting things about me, but you may be surprised.
My sister, Jaime, also reads your blog and some of the other blogs from your website religiously (like I do). She prays for you and your friends all the time. She also has a blog and who knows she may post "7 things" to it too. Her little 13 mth boy (my nephew) is dealing with tons of allergies (peanut, milk, egg, pets - you name it). He has eczema and breathing attacks and may end up with asthma. His lungs get swollen a lot and he gets real sick. If you want to read about it, it is www.millerhouse4.blogspot.com. She also has an 8 yr old daughter (my niece) who just landed a small movie role in a movie coming out next year.
Well, I like your "7 things". And I love your blog and look forward to reading it all the time!
