Iron Bowl 2007
For those of you who don't know, the Iron Bowl is the rivalry game between Auburn and Alabama. It is the biggest game of the year for anyone who went to Auburn, Alabama, or just lives in the state of Alabama. We started off the day by getting to the tailgate at 8 a.m. and Andrew and Daniel broadcasting a sports talk radio show from Auburn. The game was not until 8 p.m. so it was a very long, very cold day but finally it was time to go in to the stadium along with almost 100,000 other people! Below are some pictures from the game. The video is from the fly by which is my favorite part of the game. No wait, my favorite part was beating Bama for the 6th year in a row!!! WAR EAGLE!
The fly by! If you have never heard one it is so loud. The whole stadium shakes! I get goose bumps every time because it is so cool, especially when it is a night game.
Andrew and Daniel broadcasting from the tailgate spot.
It was a bit chilly on Saturday. That's me in the middle under several layers trying to keep warm.
The Tigers coming out on the field!
The team getting everyone in the stands fired up for the Iron Bowl!
It's a little blurry but this is the one and only Bo Jackson!
Quinton Groves on the big screen after the 6th straight win over the Crimson Tide!
Toomer's Corner on Sunday morning.
War Eagle everyone!
Carson didn't make it to this game but he can go to his first Iron Bowl in 2 years when he is a bit bigger and it is back in Auburn. He had a spend the night party with my parents and cheered on the tigers from their house. They must have worn him out because he is passed out cold on the floor as I type!
