Getting Bigger

We are now 5 lbs and 15 oz! By the time he gets to come home he'll be the size of a full term newborn, just at 3 months old! Andrew and I are going to spend the night at the hospital this week so that we can feed him all day and night and see if he will finish all his bottles for us. He is still only taking about half for the nurses but he will finish for us. We have figured out his burping problems, we switched to a low flow nipple and he burps much easier with that. This is going to be our week! I can feel it. We are coming home with Carson. But a few prayers from everyone wouldn't hurt!

Lauren, I love your "Take Charge" attitude. Carson's pix are angelic and his little fingers are so expressive.We can see the love you & Andrew share for him. Lauren, Andrew, & Carson,

Looking forward to coming down and visiting. We never get tired of looking at pictures of Carson (afterall, we are a bunch of photo-bugs)! Carson obviously knows who his parents are (with the love for him just overflowing) since he will finish his bottles for you. We will keep praying he comes home and are counting the days and hours with you.

Can't wait to meet Carson!!

What a big boy Carson is becoming! Hopefully Independence Day will have special meaning this year as Carson gains his independence from the hospital and comes home with Mommy and Daddy!

I am so happy to read today's blog. He is getting so big! I love the pictures too. Carson looks like he loves being held by you and Andrew. Hold him tight, he will get to be so big, so quick. I can't wait to hear about his homecoming, take lots of pictures...I know it will happen this week!!! I can just feel it.
