Weight Night

Tonight is another weight night! The last one he gained about 30 grams so we are hoping he beats that tonight. We are still struggling with him drinking his whole bottle. He starts off pretty good but poops out fast. Then he just stares at me. It can be pretty frustrating. He only gets 20 minutes to try and feed because any time after that he is burning more calories than it is worth. We have the painters coming today to paint his room. I hope he gets to be in there soon. I want my little guy home! Send us some positive thoughts and prayers that he gets to come home.

Prayers and well wishes are being sent your way. I hope little Carson will be home soon, but I'm sure no one wants that as bad as you and Andrew. Take care and keep us posted. Thank goodness for blogs!!!

I wish Carson could put on all the weight I'd like to take off! He looks great! We are all in "prayer warrier" mode - hang in there, he'll be coming home soon.
Love you,

I'm with Beth!

Actually, Carson is training you for his adolescent years, when no matter what you say or do, he'll look at you with a blank expression:-)

Lauren,

As always, our prayers for you are that your precious little bundle will be home soon. Have they measured Carson lately? Often times the weight plateaus out because they are growing. The effort for those litle bones to add length uses up more of the food stores; hence no weight gain. Hopefully, Carson is doing just that!! When Debi was back in the hospital as a baby, she used to do the same thing at feeding time. It was as if she'd rather visit than eat; then she would fall asleep. Just keep talking to Carson and tell him he MUST eat if he wants to see his fantastic new bedroom!!

Hang in there! This waiting is sometimes the hardest, because you are getting so close to the finish line & you just want to be there. Don't forget, he's not too young to already start reading to. That might help pass time. He will probably even let you know what his favorite book is after you've read a few over.

I will send an extra prayer for just you today.

Hang in there Lauren! We'll keep praying that Carson can get his weight up. I know how anxious you are to get him home. Eating/weight issues are so frustrating. It's a situation over which you have no control. I'm beating my head against the wall everyday it. Please send Andrew Happy Fathers Day wishes from the Letts family.

Hugs and prayers....

Caroline
