Cooper's Memory

As I was getting ready this morning I realized that it was Memorial Day Weekend. This is a weekend that Andrew and I always celebrated at the lake. This was the weekend he proposed to me on the dock. This is supposed to be a happy weekend. I think that Cooper made sure that his memorial would be during this time so that we remember to be happy and celebrate him and his short life. He wouldn't want us feeling sorry for ourselves, I think he would want us to smile as we think of him. So even though today will be the hardest day of our lives as we lay our little one to rest we need to remember to celebrate and live through Carson.

Around 12:00 pm today say a little prayer for Cooper as we say goodbye.

We are with you in spirit, if not in person.

Thinking of all of you, and the little boy you say goodbye to--

I'm thinking of you all today as you say goodbye to little Cooper. My heart aches for you. I know that this is difficult and please know that he will now be your Guardian Angel to watch over all of you from now on. God bless all of you!

You are absolutely amazing. Your grace and strength and empathy for the rest of us are incredible. May Cooper's memory continue to foster love around the world.

So, we will smile through our tears and someday tell Carson how his brother touched more folks in five short weeks than most do in a lifetime.

Love, Lisa
