Cooper

I just got report from Andrew, he does the phone call in the AM, and Cooper's infection level went up again. He is now at a 16. This is so frustrating because they don't know what is wrong. Some of you may know, I am not a patient person. I want to see results right away and this is killing me. One that I have to sit and wait to see what kind of infection he has and two that I can't fix my own son's problem. Most of his other labs and stuff look pretty good. Although they did go up to 15 on his blood pressure medicine over the night. But for whatever reason his infection levels are continuing to go up. I feel another "meeting" with the doctors coming on. Everyone just pray that they figure out the problem soon so that they can fix my Cooper.

Hang in there, Lauren! Sorry to hear about the increased infection. Amazing to think a little baby can baffle a bunch of MD's!

Yes, you are Officially a MOM! We have no patience when problems for our kids can't be solved immediately (preferably before they become problems, but we settle for immediately). Hang in there...we're sending prayers your way.
Love,
Lisa

Lauren, you'll have frustrations again in 15 years as you are agonizing over their teen-age problems and you want to help solve those, too.
Hang in there, mom. They know you are fighting for them.
Much love to you and Andrew and the boys,
Aunt Jane and Uncle Tim

Sending you a hug this morning....this is so agonizing. It's especially brutal, because you can't escape the situation and the boys problems are far from the everyday problems of parenting a healthy child. I'm so sorry that you are on this rollercoaster...and that's what it is. One day you get good news, only to have the rug jerked out from under you the next day. Just to even hold your child is a hassle...all of the wires and tubes. All you want to do as a mom is comfort them. BUT remember, your boys know that you are there. They spent many months inside your body listening to your voice. Your touch and your voice are very important to them right now. Hang in there Lauren. I hope you have a wonderful Mothers Day. You are doing a GREAT job.

Hugs and prayers,

Caroline
