Holding Carson



Yesterday I got to "kangaroo" with Carson. It was one of the most amazing things I have done. This was the first time I got to hold one of my boys. His little bottom and legs fit in to the palm of my hand. He would wiggle his way up and make little cooing sounds. You can barely see him because we had to keep him wrapped up so he would stay warm but you can kind of see his tiny face. Hopefully we can do this more and more. It was really good for the both of us. Excuse the way I look, I was a bit emotional! :)

Everyday I go to see the babies, and I am amazed at the strength they give me. Carson and Cooper are working so hard. I tell them everyday how much we all love them and how proud we are of there strength.
Each day we take another baby step towards getting them home. They have the sweetest little faces, I can hardly wait for everyone to see them. Soon our family photogopher, Cousin Lins, will be here to get some pictures.
Carson, Cooper, Lauren and Andrew we all love you so much and are so proud of the strength you show us each day.

Lauren, you look beautiful! Kangarooing is one of the best things ever, and so good for the baby (and for mom, too) It's a wonderful, wonderful feeling to hold your little child next to you and feel his skin, know he hears your heartbeat, knows that he feels how much you love him.

It's the good stuff. Nothing beats it. :-)

I bet it feels great to cuddle up with your little one - it is so great for you and him. There is really nothing better in this world. You look wonderful and seem to be handling everything with such grace. You are amazing and like I said before those boys are lucky to have such wonderful parents. a lot and they are really in my thoughts. i am sure it is because i have twins to but their health has been on my mind. my prayers are with them. oh and by the way if you don't get them into gymnastics right away thay will fall behind !!
