April 17th

Whatever everyone did seemed to help out! Thank you so much everyone for thinking and praying for our boys. Cooper is now doing better than he was yesterday. What a difference a day can make. As we left the boys tonight Carson was wiggling all over the place and Cooper had even opened his eyes for a few seconds before they had to immobilize him again.

Andrew and I will meet with the neonatologist ( I'm not sure how to spell that one!) tomorrow to give us some updates. Pray for good news, every time we have met with them we haven't heard the most positive of things. We know it's their job to tell us the negative also, but for once something good would be nice. We'll take whatever we can get!

Again, Andrew and I are amazed by all the people we have heard from; some we don't even know. Keep sending the prayers and positive thoughts, we still have a long road ahead.

That's wonderful news...you've got some strong boys!
:)
Lauren and Andrew,
It is so wonderful to hear the boys are doing better. I check your site everyday and do not stop thinking about y'all. Stay strong, but also remember it is okay to cry and let it all out. My husband and I still do when we look at pictures from when our daughter was in NICU. Your boys are stronger than you can imagine.

Lauren and Andrew,
Carolyn and I are glad to hear the boys are doing better. We check the site everyday to get the updates. Our prayers are with you every night. This site is a great idea. It allows us up in illinois to see the boys, you, andrew and bo. Say hi to everyone down there.

Hi Lauren,

My mom told me how you and your family are doing and sent me your blog. I can really relate to your experience. Three weeks ago, I gave birth to a preemie girl after two months of bedrest and a few hospital visits. It was such a tough experience in so many ways. Our family wishes you the best in your recovery and also we are keeping your sons in our thoughts, sending good karma their way. Let me know if I can help in any way--feel free to contact me to chat at any time. Take care.

Carson and Cooper are so lucky to have you two for parents. I love reading about the boys every day. You tell them their Aunt Linda is thinking about them and sending her love.

Good thoughts, always
Love Aunt Linda
Hi Lauren and Andrew! I just wanted to let you know that you and your new little family have continued to be in our thoughts and prayers. By the looks of all your blogs, y'all already seem like the most wonderful parents. Those boys are quite lucky, and they seem to be quite the fighters. I have been checking the website each day, and I am so happy to see that you had some positive news on the 17th. Please let me know if there is anything at all that I can do to help out!

Love,
Kristen and Hank McCord
