Andrew Holds Carson
Daddy got to hold Carson today. He went right to sleep and stayed there for about an hour. When they were putting him back he was making little whimpering sounds. I think he really liked being held by his dad. Carson is still on a ventilator called a SiPap. He is almost breathing on his own, this machine just makes it a little easier for him so he can strengthen his lungs.
Little Cooper is still holding on strong. He is on his oscillator, but he is pretty stable for now on that. They will try to ween him off of it very slowly. Poor little guy is still pretty swollen from being paralyzed for so long, but he is not on that medicine anymore. They just try to keep him sedated. He likes to crack his eye open an peek at us when we lift his cover. He also is moving his little tongue around his mouth and playing with his tubes. I got to change his diaper for the first time today, which is good because they really have tried not to bother him too much and we haven't been able to touch him a whole lot. He grabbed on to my finger right away. He still has a long way to go, but we all know he can do it!

You and your boys have been in our thoughts and prayers. We have them on our prayer list at church also. It is amazing how small they both are! May Carson and Cooper get stronger each day! Remember miracles do happen-believe in the power of prayer!! Stay strong.
Andrew you look like a natural! We are so proud of both of you for staying so strong. Before you know it you will be taking those two handsome boys home! Good luck and we are all here for you and keeping you in our prayers.
