we have started february with a bang...i mean bug.  we all (minus brooks, but i'm just waiting for it) have come down with a viscous stomach virus.  i'm not sure who patient zero is but i'm thinking it was shelby.  not sure how she picked it up...maybe it's how she drags her blanket all over the ground everywhere she goes like linus from the peanuts gang!  anyhow, she started it and we have all fallen one by one.  the worst one of all is poor carson, his "24 hour" bug is more like a "72-96" hour long bug.  and out of all of us he is the last one who needs to loose any thing off his tiny frame.  so, while we all recover and come out of our lysol fog i thought these pictures would be good to share.  we took these before christmas for our christmas cards but then ended up using something different.  i've had several of these blown up on canvas prints and they are now hanging up in our new house.

you can tell in all of these that shelby was not feeling it.  she refused to wear her hair bow and to smile.  life with a two year old girl sure is different!

and you can see her beloved pink blanket in all the pictures, too.  she goes nowhere without it.

babies.  hard to believe the boys will be 9 and 7 this year.

i tried to get one with andrew and the kids but shelby is in a phase where if i am in sight she will have nothing to do with anyone else.  including her daddy.  i like how this picture turned out though, dad and his boys.

and it's also hard to believe this year we will celebrate lucky 13 years of marriage.  i feel like it was just yesterday we said i do.

let's hope we all shake this bug and i can get back to snapping some pictures.  believe me, you don't want to see what any of this looks like right now!
