heart anniversary

this little firecracker got a second chance at life five years ago today.  thank God for a mama's instincts in knowing something just wasn't right.  i don't want to dwell on the details but every day with this one is a gift.  even on the days i want to put him in a straight jacket because he simply will not sit still, i love him more than i feel is possible.  he is carson's best friend, shelby's constant entertainment and our little heart warrior.  we love you brooks, to the moon and back and to infinity and beyond!  cheers to you, little man!
