what's missing in this picture?

carson lost his first tooth the other day!  when we went to the dentist (on his birthday) they told us he had two wiggly teeth but i didn't think one would fall out so soon.  one minute it was there and then after eating a snack it was gone.  and i mean really gone.  we couldn't find it anywhere, we're guessing he swallowed it.  brooks was really worried that the tooth fairy wouldn't come without a tooth so we wrote a note explaining what happened and left it for the tooth fairy.  carson (and brooks) was super excited to see that the tooth fairy left him a shiny silver dollar (what daddy got as a kid) and a crisp dollar bill for a special ice cream treat at school.  we told him when the next tooth falls out, which should be soon, to make sure and spit it out of his mouth.  i just love this little toothless grin, i'm not sure i'll be able to handle it when the adult teeth grow in.  he's just getting too big too fast!
